Our opening package provides full end‑to‑end support for launching a new restaurant or bar. We begin by researching and identifying the right location for your concept, ensuring the site aligns with your brand, budget, and long‑term goals. From there, we guide you through every stage of the pre‑opening process — supplier sourcing, health and safety requirements, council permissions, and all operational setup.
We support with onboarding your POS system, integrating delivery and takeaway platforms, and establishing the operational foundations your venue needs to run smoothly. Recruitment is included too, helping you secure the right management team and key staff ahead of launch. Throughout the process, we act as your hands‑on partner, ensuring nothing is missed and your opening is structured, compliant, and set up for success.
The Beginning
We start by sitting down together and talking through your vision; the vibe, the food, the drinks, the style of service, and the kind of team you want to build. What are you trying to create, and where do you see it living?
From there, I’ll scout potential areas and buildings, researching each location and giving you clear pros and cons so you can make an informed decision about where to open.
Next, we map out what you need and what the budget looks like. I’ll create a full equipment and ingredient list, source suppliers, and compare options — not just by price, but by quality and what will genuinely work best for your restaurant.
We’ll also review forecasts and compare them against operational and labour costs so we’re opening with a clear financial plan. Together, we’ll set goals for opening day and build out the essentials: opening hours, average spend per head, staffing levels, and more.
The Middle
This is where the build‑out starts to take shape. I’ll contact suppliers, gather pricing, confirm delivery schedules, and — most importantly — secure samples. If we’re aiming for the best burgers, we’ll test different patties, buns, and textures to find the combination that truly works together.
With the site secured and construction underway, we break down everything you’ll need and start building a full shopping list — from equipment and fire safety to pest control, POS systems, and all operational essentials.
Then we move into staffing. We’ll source your management team and decide how involved you want them to be in the opening process. I can take the lead and ensure your GM and Head Chef are aligned, accountable, and fully prepared for their roles.
The Finale
At this stage, everything is coming together — suppliers are confirmed, recruitment is underway, and staff training is in full swing.
This is the crucial phase where we make sure every detail is aligned and nothing slips through the cracks. From food and beverage to health and safety, we ensure all operational, legal, and compliance requirements are fully in place so your venue is ready to open with confidence
